Why we don't fake reviews
Plenty of contractors do. We don't. Here's how to spot the difference — and why it matters.
Verified Google profile only
Every review you see here is on our verified Google Business Profile. Click any one of them through to Google and you'll see the reviewer, the date, the star count and the full text. No "testimonial" graphics we wrote ourselves.
Glenn asks for them, doesn't pay for them
When we finish a job we like, we ask the customer — politely, by email — if they'd post a review on Google. Some do, some don't. We never buy reviews, never pay for placements, never run "review for a discount" pushes.
4.5★, not 5.0★ — and that's fine
Anyone showing a perfect 5.0 across 100+ reviews on a trades business should be questioned. Real jobs across 30 years on the Coast — somebody, somewhere, has had something to say. We sit at 4.5★ and we'd rather that be accurate than puffed up.
Red flags in other contractors
Stock photos for "reviewers." Reviews dated the same day. Identical phrasing. Names with no profile history. If you see any of that on a contractor's site, do your own check on Google before signing anything.
We respond to bad reviews too
If someone leaves a review we don't agree with, we reply on Google. We don't delete it, we don't try to bury it. We have a yarn about what actually happened and let the reader decide. That's the test.
Family name on the line
