Earthworks Scope
From a single driveway pad through to subdivision earthworks. We do the lot in-house.
Excavation & clearing
Trees, stumps, debris, old surfaces stripped. Site set up for the works that follow.
Cut & fill
Levels to design. Spoil reused on site where it can be, removed where it can't.
Subgrade & road base
Subgrade formed and proof-rolled. Road base placed in layers, each one compacted to spec.
Compaction testing
NATA-tested density where the spec calls for it. Documentation supplied with the as-built.
Drainage works
Pits, ag-line, subsoil drainage where needed. Water that gets under the pavement is what kills it.
Hardstand & pads
Industrial hardstand, equipment pads, building pads, container pads.
Site Types
The same crew and gear that does a residential driveway pad also does subdivision earthworks. Different scale, same standard.
Residential
Driveway pads, garage entries, rural acreage tracks. Tight access? We've got the small gear for it.
Commercial
Car park subgrades, hardstand, retail and strata sites. Coordinated with the rest of the package.
Civil & subdivision
Road formation, batters, bulk earthworks. ITP documentation alongside the works.

Skip the prep and you save a few thousand up front. You spend ten years patching the result.
Compaction stops settlement
Asphalt over uncompacted fill cracks within 2-3 years. Done properly, you get 15-20.
Drainage stops the slow death
Water trapped under pavement is the #1 cause of failure. Subsoil drainage where needed.
Levels stop the puddles
Falls and crossfalls set during earthworks. Get this right and the surface drains where it should.

Do you only do earthworks, or the asphalt as well?
We do both. Earthworks straight through to hot-mix surface, one crew, one quote. Or earthworks only if you've already got someone for the surface.
What size jobs do you take on?
Anything from a single driveway pad up to subdivision earthworks. If you're not sure, send a sketch or address and we'll tell you straight.
Do you supply compaction reports?
Yes, NATA-tested where the spec calls for it. Supplied with the as-built documentation.
Do you handle the spoil?
Yes. We reuse on site where possible, cart off where it can't be reused. Tip fees costed in the quote.
How fast can you start?
Most earthworks jobs, 2-4 weeks from quote acceptance. Larger civil packages run to programme.
