Founder Glenn Harmond started his first asphalting business over 30 years ago on the Central Coast of NSW. From little more than the family car and a box trailer, BWB has grown into a highly respected company with a wide range of machinery and a crew of more than 10.
Brisbane Water Bitumen is now part of the Rawal Family, a family business with over 40 years of interests spanning construction and multiple industries. The same crew, the same standards, the same commitment to the Central Coast.

We visit your site, assess the scope, and identify any sub-base or drainage issues before pricing. No surprises later.
Detailed Quote
Clear, itemised quote with materials, preparation, compaction, and line marking broken out separately.
Construction
Our own plant and crew on site. Paving machine, roller, experienced operators. We do not outsource the critical work.
Handover

How long does an asphalt driveway last on the Central Coast?
A properly installed hot-mix asphalt driveway on the Central Coast lasts 20 to 30 years. Lifespan depends on sub-base quality, correct compaction, drainage, and sealing every 4 to 5 years to protect against coastal UV and salt air oxidation.
Do you service all areas of the NSW Central Coast?
Yes. Brisbane Water Bitumen covers the full Central Coast LGA including Gosford, Wyong, Erina, Terrigal, Woy Woy, The Entrance, and surrounding suburbs. For commercial and civil projects we also travel to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Hornsby.
Are you an approved council contractor?
Yes. Brisbane Water Bitumen is a panel contractor for Central Coast Council, which means we can quote directly on council asphalt and civil works without additional tender requirements.
Do you use your own equipment or subcontractors?
We own our plant: asphalt pavers, rollers, cold planers, and tip trucks. The same crew that quotes your job lays the asphalt. No subcontractors on the critical path, so quality and programme are entirely under our control.
How quickly can you provide a quote?
