Enquiries, quotes and tenders come in every week. This role looks after them: you call clients back, meet them on site and see each quote through to a yes or a no. Our engineers and crews deliver the jobs.

Sales and client follow-up
Most of the week
- Follow up enquiries, leads, quotes and tenders until each one is won or closed out
- Build and keep relationships with councils, builders, developers, strata and property managers, and commercial owners
- Open new opportunities across commercial, civil, council, strata and private work
- Present commercial terms for management approval and help close the job
- Stay in touch with clients before, during and after a job so repeat work keeps coming
- Keep the pipeline current so no enquiry sits unanswered

- Attend site meetings and inspections with clients
- Take basic measurements and note the scope, access and anything unusual
- Hand a clean, written scope to estimating and the engineers
You will not set out, run crews or manage delivery. Our engineers, foremen and crews look after that once the job is won.
Who We Are Looking For
- Sales, business development or account management experience in civil construction, asphalt, roadworks, building materials or a related industry
- Strong follow-up habits: you return calls and finish what you start
- Comfortable on site measuring an area, reading a basic plan and noting what a job needs
- Commercial sense and an eye for work worth quoting
- Confident running a pipeline in a CRM or spreadsheet
- A current Australian driver's licence, and a White Card or willingness to get one
- Based on the Central Coast, or willing to relocate
- Contacts across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Sydney or wider NSW construction market will help

The Work You Would Be Selling
Brisbane Water Bitumen has built and resurfaced roads, carparks, subdivisions, hardstands, sports courts and driveways on the NSW Central Coast since 1993, with larger civil jobs reaching the Hunter and northern Sydney. We are on council contractor panels, and the business is part of the Rawal Family, a family business with over 40 years across construction and other industries.
